Educating in the Digital Age: A Celebration of Writing & Literacy

This October, the Philadelphia Writing Project in partnership with the Urban Affairs Coalition, is proud to announce: Educating in the Digital Age: A Celebration of Writing & Literacy. This full day of professional development will include breakout sessions, product demonstrations, and expert panels that will highlight and showcase the future of digital and literacy education both in and out of the classroom.

Educating in the Digital Age: A Celebration of Writing & Literacy will highlight promising practices to leverage the tools already in the hands of teachers and introduce new, accessible, and affordable (free/low cost) software and platforms to support their work. We want to connect teachers and educators with easy "plug and play" resources to make it easier to integrate the use of technology in the classroom, allowing more learning possibilities for students.
